A clear objective and a quick launch without unnecessary costs

MetGlass Solutions (mgs.lt) manufactures metal Twist-Off lids for the food and beverage industry. Its production facility is located in Alytus, Lithuania, and it serves customers across Europe, including the Baltic states, Poland, Germany, and other markets.

The goal was to turn the website into a polished showcase for a modern European manufacturer. It needed to inspire trust, quickly explain what the company does, and provide customers with the shortest route to the right manager.

Design and WordPress theme

The website runs on a custom WordPress theme that I adapted to the brand. It is a streamlined showcase website with a clear structure, large typography, scroll animations, and a clean, mobile-friendly layout.

The home page consists of logical sections:

  • key advantages: automated optical quality control, flexibility and fast delivery across Europe, and production powered by 100% renewable energy;
  • figures and facts: 20+ years of experience, 100% automated inspection, and 100+ million lids per year;
  • team;
  • a section about the Alytus factory featuring a video;
  • an FAQ answering common customer questions;
  • a feed of blog articles.

Full-screen video generated by a neural network

The first thing visitors see is a full-screen background video. It was generated by a neural network specifically for the website and plays automatically, muted and on a loop. The main offer is overlaid on top: «Precision-Engineered Metal Caps». For an industrial website, this kind of opening looks premium and immediately sets the tone, without requiring an expensive video shoot.

Four languages

The original website is in English. Lithuanian, Polish, and Russian versions were also created, so customers can view the website in their own language.

Static pages were translated using the GPT-5 model. Rather than simply running the copy through a translator, I adapted it for each language so that it would sound natural while retaining technical accuracy. Every page, section, and button is available in all four languages. The language switcher in the website header works without reloading the site's logic.

Blog is structured differently because new content is regularly added there:

  • SEO articles are written and published in English;
  • a plugin with AI translation automatically translates them into the other languages (free version, powered by Azure Translate);
  • the quality is average, but sufficient for SEO content. The client does not need to pay for expensive models or translate every post manually;
  • if more accurate translations are needed later, the plugin can be switched to a paid language model. The architecture supports this.

This resulted in a sensible approach: valuable static content is translated professionally, while frequently updated content is translated automatically and affordably.

Feedback form with managers’ personal links

This is the project’s main functional feature.

General inquiry form. When a customer submits an inquiry, both the manager responsible and the director receive an email at the same time. No inquiry gets lost, and management is always aware of incoming requests.

A personal link for every manager. Each sales manager has a unique link in the following format /contact/?manager=…. The manager sends it to the client in a chat, messenger, or email signature. When the client follows the link, they immediately see a contact form with the appropriate manager already selected.

Benefits:

  • the client does not need to figure out whom to contact;
  • the inquiry is automatically routed to the person already communicating with the client;
  • the manager can see that the inquiry came through their link;
  • the director retains full visibility into all inquiries.

The “Send Message” buttons in the team section on the homepage lead to the same form with the relevant manager preselected. This creates simple CRM-style functionality without a CRM: orders, managers, and email routing all work through a standard form on WordPress.

Technologies and approach

  • CMS: WordPress with a custom theme;
  • Content: home page, About Us, Products, Catalog, and Contacts pages, blog;
  • Languages: EN / LT / PL / RU;
  • AI in the project: video generation, page translation using GPT-5, automatic blog translation via a plugin;
  • Email routing: manager parameters in links, with a copy sent to the director.

The Result

The website is uncluttered, quickly explains what the company does, and guides visitors toward getting in touch. Behind the scenes, it includes features usually found in larger projects: four languages, AI-generated video, automated blog translation, and inquiry routing to the appropriate managers.
